The Vision of Faith | Deric Bartlett | 2026-06-14

Pastor Deric preached from Hebrews 11:13β16 in a sermon titled βThe Vision of Faith.β
We were reminded that the people of faith live with an eternal perspective. Though the saints of old did not receive the fullness of God's promises during their earthly lives, they trusted Him to the end, fixing their hope on what lay beyond this world. They understood that they were strangers and exiles on the earth, journeying toward a better country, a heavenly one prepared by God Himself.
This passage calls believers to view life through the lens of eternity. As we consider the certainty of death, the promise of our heavenly home, the temporary nature of our earthly pilgrimage, and the privilege of belonging to God, we are encouraged to persevere in faith. The Christian life is lived with confidence that God's promises are true and that our ultimate inheritance is found in Him.
