The Legacy of Faith | Deric Bartlett | 2026-05-24

This past Sunday, Pastor Deric preached from Hebrews 11:2, titled “The Legacy of Faith.”  We were reminded that every believer’s story is being woven together by the sovereign hand of God for His glory and the strengthening of others. Hebrews 11 calls us to look behind us with gratitude for the faithful men and women who shaped our walk with Christ, encouraged us in seasons of weakness, corrected us in love, and modelled what it means to persevere by faith.  

Through personal testimonies and reflections on godly mentors, Pastor Deric challenged us to steward our own story wisely, to build intentional relationships within the body of Christ, and to live with the kind of faithfulness that leaves a lasting spiritual legacy for future generations. Though none of God’s people are perfect, their lives become powerful witnesses when surrendered to Christ and shaped by His grace.
