This past Sunday, Pastor Deric preached from Hebrews 11:24–31 in a sermon titled "The Faith that Saves." We were reminded that saving faith is more than intellectual belief. It awakens us to the lordship of Christ, calls us to turn from the fleeting pleasures of sin, and rests entirely in the finished work of our true Passover Lamb. Through the examples of Moses, Israel, and Rahab, we saw that genuine faith transforms the whole of life, leading God's people to persevere in obedience, trust His promises, and welcome people from every nation into His redeeming grace. The same faith that saves also sustains, sanctifies, and prepares God's people for the inheritance He has promised.
