This past Sunday, Pastor Deric preached from Hebrews 11:23 titled, “Parenting by Faith.”
We were reminded that raising children is ultimately an act of faith. Like Moses' parents, we are called to see our children through God's eyes, courageously protect them from the influences of the world, faithfully prepare them to follow Christ, and entrust their lives to the Lord's sovereign care. Though parents cannot control every outcome, they are called to plant the seed of the gospel, model faithful obedience, and trust God to accomplish His purposes in the next generation.
