Pastor Deric preached from Acts 17:11 in a sermon titled “Hell, No!” We were challenged to examine what we believe about hell in light of Scripture, rather than allowing culture, personal preference, or even Christian tradition to have the final word. Like the Bereans, believers are called to search the Scriptures carefully and bind their conscience to what God has revealed in His Word. The biblical reality of judgment is sobering, but it ultimately points us to our desperate need for Christ and the salvation found in Him alone.
